You may have some questions about the counseling experience. Listed below are some commonly asked questions. If you do not find adequate answers to your questions here, please be sure and talk to your counselor about your concerns.

  • How do I make an appointment?
  • What will happen when I call?
  • How much does an hour-long appointment cost?
  • How often do people see a counselor?
  • How long do people stay in counseling?
  • Will other people be told I am seeing a counselor?

Q: How do I make an appointment?
A. You have three choices: 1) call Sunnyside Counseling Offices at (503) 257-7572 , 2) e-mail us at sunnyside@q.com, or 3) contact one of the counselors who work here (you can read about each of us by clicking on About Us in the navigation section).
Q: What will happen when I call?
A: You will be asked several questions that only take about 5-10 minutes of your time to answer. We will let you know if we can help you with your concern. If we can't, we'll give you some suggestions of other counselors or agencies that may be better equipped to help you. If you reach voice mail, please leave a message asking us to call you. We'll need to know your name, number and a good time to return your call.
